There’s a party tonight at the Mountaineering Museum, and everyone is invited. They call it “The Holiday Gear Party,” because it includes a silent auction for a lot of high quality outdoor gear, including K2, REI, Smith Optics, Petzl, Marmot, Lafuma, Timex, Chums, Horny Toad, Outdoor Research, Five Ten, Eagle Creek, Teva, and Suunto. There will also be a drawing for a grand prize which includes Grand Prize – a 3-piece outfit from First Ascent including: Microtherm Down Shirt, BC 200 and Rainier Storm Shell pants. Admission is free, though a $2 donation is encouraged to help pay for the beer.
If you’ve never seen the Mountaineering Museum, this is a great opportunity to see it and have some fun! It runs from 6 to 9 PM..
