We’re celebrating First Friday downtown tonight. Admittedly, it’s not as big a deal as the street fairs we have in the summer, but it’s still a very enjoyable event. There will be free carriage rides, which are DELIGHTFUL at this time of the year, when the holiday lights are still up. In addition, several of the merchants are holding sales on their winter merchandise. The Golden Quilt Company is holding their monthly “Quilt til U Wilt.” The Ace Hi has $5 pitchers and $1.25 pints. Spirits in the Wind is hosting an opening reception for their new clay exhibit. Miners Alley is opening a new Noel Coward comedy tonight. Golden Greeters will be on hand, distributing Golden Tickets. C’mon down, and enjoy this unrealistically nice weather..
