The Railroad Museum is offering “Colorado Rails and Cocktails–an Evening of Colorado History tonight from 6:30 – 8. Learn about the Orphan Trains that ran between 1854 and 1929, on which 250,000 orphans and unwanted children were put on trains in New York and sent all over the U.S. to be given away. Tickets are $12 for members and $15 for nonmembers and include two beverages–beer, wine, or soda. Attendees must be 21 or older. Learn more about this event.
The final “Music and Movies in the Park” will be presented tonight in Parfet Park (10th and Washington. Tommy and the Tangerines will begin performing at 7, and the movie, Dolphin Tale, will begin at dusk (about 8:30).
