This is First Friday, so there will be free carriage rides downtown tonight from 5-8. Several of the stores will also stay open later, and of course all of the restaurants will be in full swing. The Quilt Museum is opening a new exhibit this weekend, so they are hosting an opening night reception from 5-8PM, with complimentary refreshments and free admission.
For those who don’t quite have Halloween out of their system, here are your remaining opportunities to celebrate. Spider Mansion will be open through Saturday night. Boo Town and the Glowing 3D Maze Craze will be open through Sunday. The Briarwood Inn is offering their murder mystery dinner, Spirits of Suspicion, tonight and tomorrow night. Sweeney Todd will play at Heritage Square Music Hall through next weekend. Tonight, Colorado Haunted History will give the last Murder, Mayhem, and Madness tour for the year. Meet at the Visitors Center at 7 if you want to learn the grislier aspects of Golden’s history.
