We’re heading into another great summer weekend. Come downtown tonight for the First Friday street fair (5-8pm). We’ll have all sorts of things going on: local food vendors, local beer, live music, free carriage rides, specials at the stores, visiting artists, wine tasting, Princess the Pony visiting from the Horse Rescue League, an aerial artist, a climbing wall…come downtown, see your friends & neighbors, and enjoy the gathering.
After you’ve hung out there for a while, amble over to Parfet Park and enjoy the first Movies and Music in the Park for the season! The Clam Daddies will start playing at 7, and How to Train Your Dragon will start at about 8:30.
We also have free admission at the Golden History Center for First Friday (5:30 – 8pm) and the Rocky Mountain Quilt Museum is hosting a free reception to celebrate the opening of their new exhibit..
