Buffalo Birthday Celebration: Day 2! Today’s festivities take place at the Buffalo Bill Museum on Lookout Mountain:
“Happy Birthday Buffalo Bill!” That’s what we will all be singing on Sunday, Feb 26th, as we celebrate Cody’s 171st birthday. Museum admission will be free all day. At noon everyone will gather in the Pahaska Tepee Café for the annual cutting of the cake by an abundance of Buffalo Bill reenactors, after which EVERYONE is invited to enjoy free cake and ice cream while supplies last.
Award-winning cowgirl-poet Susie Knight will lead us in song, then stick around to entertain and amuse with poems and song through the first half of the afternoon.
Inside the Museum we’ll have some ‘make and take’ crafts for the little ones, and, weather permitting, our fan-favorite Buffalo Chip Toss competition in the afternoon (adult and child divisions).
