Celebrate Fall Break with free admission for all students to Trek Through Time, the exhibit hall at the Dinosaur Ridge Visitor Center. Check out new exhibits: the Camarasaurus, a Brachiosaurus skull, a Goniopholis skull and a Tryrannosaurus rex footprint. Hike the outdoor trail free or take a guided tour by shuttle bus for $5.
If you’re looking for a dinosaur-themed outing that’s even closer to home, try the Triceratops Trail. It runs along the west side of Fossil Trace golf course. The trailhead is located one block east of 19th Street and Highway 6.
