Ward 3 Councilor Bob Vermeulen provided the following construction alert:
Beginning Monday July 1st Ford Street, and the Tucker Gulch Trail will be closed from 7:00am to 7:00pm for demolition on the SH 58 bridge. Detour will be 10th to Washington and 5th to Ford. The contractor will work the 1st, 2nd and 3rd and clean the site every day to reopen Ford over night. The contractor is hopeful that the sections over Ford will be finished by the 3rd but if there is still work to complete at the end of the day on the 3rd the remaining demo will begin on the 8th, the contractor feels that all work should be complete no later than the 9th. There will be noise, mostly on Monday, as they remove the old deck.
