Rocky Mountain Quilt Museum will have a traveling exhibit on display featuring quilts from their collection.
This is Greener Golden day. If you purchased a Garden-in-a-Box, you need to collect it at the Public Works Building (map) between noon and 3PM. You can also tour the Golden Community Garden and learn about Golden’s sustainability projects.
Stop by Lions Park (map) between 11AM and 4PM to have lunch while benefiting Foothills Animal Shelter. Sadee Lynn White was an avid animal lover and was planning an adoption event partnered with the Foothills Animal Shelter before she passed away in February at just 18 years old. Sadee stood for the possibility of Love, Care, and Compassion, and she was determined to save animals. To make Sadee’s vision come true, we are hosting an Adoption Event partnered with the Foothills Animal Shelter, Sadee’s favorite animal rescue, in her honor.
We will be serving the following: Hamburgers, Brats, Hot Dogs, Veggie Burgers, Veggie Dogs, Sides, and Baked Goods. There will also be yard games and face painting for the little ones.
