VACCINATED PEOPLE NO LONGER REQUIRED TO WEAR A MASK, UNLESS A BUSINES REQUIRES IT:
JEFFERSON COUNTY RESCINDS THE MASK ORDER: Under the new state requirements, any fully vaccinated individual may go without a mask in any setting, unless the setting requires otherwise. However, all unvaccinated individuals and those who are not yet fully vaccinated ages 11 and older must continue to wear a mask in certain high-risk settings, including congregate care facilities, prisons, jails, Colorado DMV offices, as well as emergency medical and other health care settings. Masks are also still required in schools and child care settings (including extracurricular activities); however, individuals who are fully vaccinated in a classroom or cohort may remove their mask if their teacher or caregiver has provided proof of vaccination to their employer. Masks also remain required during travel per CDC requirements. BUSINESSES CAN STILL REQUIRE MASKS. Read the full order….

Golden History Moment
The May 16, 1975 Colorado Transcript announced the grand opening of the Golden Coin-Op Laundry and Dry Cleaners. It operated at 1100 Arapahoe until 2017, when the laundromat closed and the building was converted into Colorado +49 Cidery.
The Golden Transcript (originally called the Colorado Transcript) has been publishing since 1866. The Golden History Museum has been working on digitizing the historic issues. You’ll find old Transcripts online at coloradohistoricnewspapers.org
