July 4th is the first Friday of the month; therefore, you might reasonably be expecting a First Friday Street Fair. Surprise! The Street Fair will be held next week, on July 11th, because we already have a major party scheduled for the 4th.
Please plan to spend this Friday, the 4th of July, in Lions Park (that’s the one by the rec. center). The Golden Lions Club will host an all-day party. From noon till 8PM they’ll have live music, food vendors, raffles drawings, face painting, and free rides for the kids. You can bring a picnic or buy food from the vendors who will be there in the park. As soon as the sun goes down, we’ll have a fireworks display!
