Tomorrow night is First Friday, so plan to take a free carriage ride through the historic downtown, courtesy of Clear Creek Carriage Company and their sponsor, the Golden Super Cruise. Meet them on 12th Street, in front of Wings of Eagles and across from the Old Capitol Grill (map). The carriage rides will be available from 5-7:30PM.
The Golden Hayride will also be giving rides around downtown from 5-7:30, courtesy of their sponsors, Gold Mine Cupcakes and Barrels and Bottles. You can catch their ride in front of the Visitors Center.
Improv Players from Golden High School will also be circulating around downtown during that time. Track them down–they’re funny!
The Hillside Community Church (103 N. Ford Street, Golden, CO – map) has begun hosting a First Friday Open Mic/Open Easel event. If you are a musician and/or an artist, this is a place to showcase your talent!
