In light of the wildfires burning all over the state, Golden has cancelled next week’s 4th of July fireworks. The all-day party in Lions Park will proceed as planned, complete with prizes, food, live music, beer, and free rides and face painting for the kids. The party starts at noon. Buy some raffle tickets for a chance to win one of over 200 prizes, including the grand prize of $1000 donated by the Lions Club! You’ll see Lions Club members selling tickets in front of various businesses this weekend–Meyer Hardware, King Soopers, and others, as well as at the Farmers Market on Saturday morning. You don’t need to be present to win.
