Farmers Market, Fathers Day, Music, Murder, Mayhem, and Madness in Golden

The Golden Farmers Market runs from 8AM-1PM this morning. The Buffalo Bill Museum will be in the Golden Cultural Alliance’s booth today, so stop by and see what they have going on this summer. Golden resident Beverly Reeves will also staff one of the booths, giving free demonstrations of Bemer, a medical device that improves circulation and relieves discomfort for both people and animals. And of course, you’ll find the usual delectable array of produce, meats, and baked goods.

At the other end of town, Grateful Bread will be open for their weekly retail day. They’re offering 33 items this week, including apple turnovers.

The Railroad Museum is celebrating Father’s Day both Saturday and Sunday, with free admission for all Dads! They are open from 9AM-5PM. Train rides are available ($4 for adults, $2 for kids, $1 discount for museum members) from 10AM-4PM.

Dinosaur Ridge is having a Dinosaur Discovery Day from 10AM-4PM. Dinosaur Discovery Days are FREE outdoor events hosted by Dinosaur Ridge at the Main Visitor Center Complex and along the Ridge Trail. Volunteers are stationed along the Dinosaur Ridge Trail at significant interpretive sites, while many others staff booths and activities at the Main Visitor Center Complex for kids of all ages. Visitors can hike at their own pace or take the shuttle bus for a small fee on these special days.
