Farewells
This
is the last day of the Geology Museum’s Book and Garage Sale, and many of the prices will have been reduced today. They’re open from 9AM-4PM.
The final performance of The 39 Steps happens today at 2PM at Miners Alley, and there are still a few seats available.
The Railroad Museum has been featuring “Open Car Days” on Sundays during April. They’ve opened cars that aren’t normally open to the public, and provided guides to explain the workings and purpose of the cars. This is the final Open Car Day, and today they’re featuring Kitchen Cars. Volunteers will be on hand to show the Kitchen Cars from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.
The Colorado Arts & Crafts Society is hosting A Gathering of the Guilds at the Boettcher Mansion today from 10AM-4PM. Presentations will include Jeff Icenhower from Mission West on “Artistic Leather in Arts and Crafts Decor” and Robert Rust from 2R Fine Arts Appraisals on “Metalworking in Colorado”. In addition, many artisans will be offering hands-on demonstrations of their craft throughout the day. Admission is $5 per person.
Vendors will include Annalee’s Naturals, Beth Bradford Studio, Black Birch Studio, Book Arts League, Chinook Pottery, Colorado Calligraphers’ Guild, Colorado Woodworkers Guild, Golden Moon Distillery, Guild of Bookworkers, Handweavers Guild of Boulder; Julie Fletcher Interior Design, Mission West, Nikki Nienhuis Fine Art, Rocky Mountain Marquetry Guild, Rocky Mountain Metalsmiths, Rocky Mountain Silk Painters, Rocky Mountain Society of Botanical Artists and 2R Fine Arts Appraisals.
