1:30PM Prom Swap “Shopping” Day at the Library
Make beautiful memories this prom season. Bring your unwanted and clean formal wear or accessories to the Library and take another’s dream outfit home. For each dress tuxedo/suit, pair of shoes, or accessory you donate, you receive tickets to trade for a new-to-you item. Don’t have anything to bring in? That’s okay! You can “buy” tickets with canned goods. Five cans per dress tuxedo/suit, two cans for shoes, one can per accessory. Tailor onsite for your immediate alterations! Learn more….
You have two chances to take a Golden history walking tour today–one with and one without beer! The Wild West Walking Tour is at 10AM and the Brewery Crawl Wild West History Tour starts at 1PM. For either, meet at the Visitors Center (map).
3PM Coffee with Councilors at Cafe 13 (map)
Councilors Casey Brown and JJ Trout will be hosting their monthly get-together with constituents this afternoon. (This is one of my favorite events of the month!) If you have questions or concerns about city business, this is a great place to discuss them.

March 31st – Get this on your calendar!
The Golden Rotary Club is hosting a series of FREE classes for Golden area residents. On March 31, they’re offering Parenting in a Digital World: Experts estimate that we see and hear more than 7,000 media messages every day. How can you know what’s influencing your child? The apps and texts kids use can help them build each other up, or can bully and shame. Learn about some of the media they’re using, how you can monitor their usage, and offer them support. Learn more and register for the class.
