Miners Alley Playhouse is doing two performances of A Christmas Carol today–at 1 and again at 6PM.
Mountain Toad Brewing has live music from 2-5 this afternoon: Shawn Cunnane will be playing solo acoustic.
Golden Yoga & Healing Arts is hosting an Essential Oils Workshop today from 3:30-5.
Cannonball Creek is hosting Games and Vinyl from 6-10 this evening. You bring the records (vinyl) and they’ll supply board games.
Golden has so many Christmas events starting next weekend that I need to start writing about it today. We have a special Christmas calendar, and we’re adding new events every day.
Briefly, the Candlelight Walk takes place Friday night. Gather at Foothills Art Center at 6PM. Bring a candle or glow stick or buy one from the Chamber. The group will begin walking down the hill at 6:30 and gather at the Visitors Center. The Mayor and a child will flip a switch and the lights will go on all along the Creek. Many festivities will then ensue–details to follow.
The first Olde Golden Christmas parade will be Saturday morning December 1st at 10:30.
A week from today, on Sunday December 2nd, children 10 and under are invited to join the Golden Elf Academy. Calling all elf recruits!
