Although he is running unopposed in this fall’s election, Councilor Casey Brown is hosting “Campaign in a Park” this morning at 9AM in DeLong Park: Come join me for an informal campaign chat in your neighborhood park. I’ll bring the coffee and you bring the issues and concerns that are on your mind. (And maybe bring a chair since DeLong Park is still in the planning stages.) DeLong is located on 23rd Street at Vernon Drive.
He will do another Campaign in a Park event on Monday morning at 9AM at White Ash Park.
The Golden Farmers Market runs this morning from 8AM-1PM. You’re running out of chances to attend the market this year–the last one will be October 5th.
The Legend of Sleepy Hollow opens at 1PM today at Miners Alley Children’s Theater. They’ve been posting videos on Facebook, introducing the cast, and it looks like a fun and funny production.
Speaking of Miners Alley, their current production, Once, is proving so popular that they have added Wednesday performances, so you should still be able to get tickets.
