Cafe 13 continues celebrating their grand-reopening today by offering half price espresso drinks. The Chamber will do a ribbon cutting at 3PM, and DeDe & the Shakers will play, starting at 6PM. (See you there!) 1301 Arapahoe Street in the Armory Building (Map).
Tonight at 7PM, the Railroad Museum is having Colorado Rails and Cocktails: Streetcar Suburbs. The famous Tom “Dr. Colorado” Noel will look at the various streetcar lines and the suburbs they created, including Curtis Park, Highlands, Berkeley, Sloans Lake, Lakewood, Barnum, Englewood Washington Park, University Park, Harman, Montclair, Park Hill, etc. Relax, have a beverage, and travel back to a time when railroads shaped the American West.
Admission is $15 for members and $20 for non-members. 21 and older only. Admission includes two beverages of your choice: beer, wine or soda and snacks. Bar opens at 6:30PM and the presentation starts promptly at 7PM. Presentation length varies by event and the doors close at 8:30PM. Buy tickets here….
