This is THE DAY to visit the Buffalo Bill Museum. They are having their Fall Roundup from noon till 4pm, so the grounds will be teaming with reenactors (including some from Golden!). Meet Buffalo Bill and Annie Oakley, talk with Native Americans, and learn how Civil War cannons work. Visit their current museum exhibit, “Buffalo Bill, Superhero.” The kids will enjoy the crafts and hands-on learning opportunities. And guess what? Thanks to the SCFD, this is a free admission day, so it’s all free!
This is also the final day of this year’s visit by Thomas the Tank Engine at the Colorado Railroad Museum. They may still have a few tickets left, so try their online ticket office or call the museum if you haven’t yet gone.
The Rocky Mountain National Watermedia Exhibition is in full swing at Foothills Art Center. While you’re there, make sure you also visit the community gallery to see the Mountainside Miniatures show. Foothills is open today from 12-5.
