Area law enforcement agencies will be testing their emergency alert system today. If you have a land line, you should be receiving a test call this morning, sometime after 9AM. You have the option to enter other preferences for emergency contact, such as cell phones, text, or email, by visiting the CodeRED registration web site at your911.net. You should consider doing that if you don’t have a land line.
The Planning Commission will hold a public hearing tonight at 6:30 about a piece of vacant land at the northwest corner of Highway 93 and Golden Gate Canyon Road. A developer is proposing the construction of 120 senior apartments on the site. The land is zoned for mixed use rather than residential; therefore, the developer needs to apply for a special use permit. Learn more….
