The Jeffco Open Space Nature Journal Club will meet tonight at 5:30 at the Lookout Mountain Nature Center. The short days and chilly temperatures of winter make it the perfect time to bring our sketching endeavors indoors. Investigate the nature center’s taxidermy specimens / dioramas and learn basic techniques for drawing mammals. Don’t forget to bring an item for a potluck dinner! This is open to all ages. Bring your own sketchbook, a pencil, watercolor paints, and any other art supplies you would like to use.

The Golden Library has a new program this year, held the 4th Thursday of the month from 11:30-1. It’s called “Library for All – Interactive Program for Adults with Disabilities.” The library is more than a collection of books- it’s a place where everyone can learn, play and create! We welcome adults with disabilities and their caregivers to make crafts, create art, play games, explore the library, and enjoy music, Story Times, and guest speakers.
