The new Downtown Development Authority meets tonight at 6:30 in City Council Chambers. This group is still getting up to speed, so tonight’s meeting includes presentations about Miners Alley Playhouse and the Buffalo Rose expansion project, committee and liaison assignments, a discussion of their 2015 action plan, and an introduction to streetscape designs and sidewalk issues. If you’re interested in Downtown’s future and in understanding what the DDA will be doing, this would be a good meeting to attend. This meeting is not broadcast on cable or the city website, so you will need to attend in person.
