The Golden Rotary Club’s second-biggest fund-raiser of the year (after the peach sale) is their Annual Golf Tournament. This year’s tournament will be October 10th, at Fossil Trace. If you’re a golfer, why not plan to attend? $175 includes a pre-game sandwich, golf, cart, practice balls, potential prizes dinner, and 18 holes of golf at the “Best Front Range Golf Course” (Colorado Avid Golfer).
If golfing isn’t your thing, consider being a sponsor or contributing something to their silent auction.
The Rotary Club uses the funds for many local projects, including food for low-income school children, a monthly luncheon for needy seniors, food and toys at Christmas for needy Golden families, and college scholarships for Golden High School students.
