Chamber Awards
Civic Award Winner – Must be a Golden Chamber Member
This Award recognizes a registered not-for-profit organization which has provided exceptional community service; has broadened the education and outreach of their services; offers community involvement by promoting volunteerism; and shown overall positive contribution to the Greater Golden Area.
Business of the Year – Must be a Golden Chamber Member
Awarded to a business that is substantially contributing to the economic vitality of Greater Golden through creating new jobs and opportunities, advancing a new industry or revitalizing a sector or neighborhood of the city; that has shown remarkable profitability and stability, and which exemplifies excellent corporate citizenship in giving back to the community-at-large and provides a corporate culture that enhances the lives of its employees.
Charlie O’Brien Volunteer Award – Must be a volunteer in Golden for at least 2 years
In honor of Charlie O’Brien, who knew the importance of volunteers to our community. This Award will be presented to an individual who has made a significant difference in their community by giving their time to help their community and others. This volunteer best demonstrated the selfless and valuable contribution that volunteering makes to our community.

Ethics in Business Awards
Nominations are being sought for the 12th annual Ethics in Business Awards, of which the Rotary Club of Golden is the principal sponsor. Jefferson County businesses and non-profits are eligible. To nominate your favorite ethical organization, go to www.GoldenRotaryEthics.org. Nominations must be received by Feb. 12.
