Seems like this should be Buffalo Bill Days weekend, doesn’t it? This is about the right time of the year. It’s always the last weekend in July though, and the last weekend falls really late this year. It’s next weekend, July 29th, 30th, and 31st.
The Railroad Museum is running the Dinosaur Express Train today from 10-4. Sift through sand for fossils, put together dinosaur puzzles, and step into a stegosaurus costume to imagine what it was like to be a dinosaur! Ride behind a historic steam locomotive, follow the dinosaur tracks around the Museum’s 15-acre railyard and listen to the adventurous stories of these prehistoric reptiles during our dinosaur storytime.
The annual VegFest is happening this weekend at the Jeffco Fairgrounds. They’ll be open Saturday and Sunday from 10-6. VegFest Colorado Is a two-day health and environmental fair supporting a vegan lifestyle. Learn more….
Speaking of vegetables, the Farmers Market runs this morning from 8-1. They will NOT be there next weekend, because the Buffalo Bill Days parade stages in that area, so stock up now to last you for two weeks!
Pangea Coffee Roasters is hosting an art show today from 4:30-7:30. Jesse Nickell will be showing and selling the majority of her artwork made in the last three years, with much of it priced down! The espresso bar will also stay open so you can come enjoy some coffee as well as support her!
