6-8PM The Buffalo Rose has a magician performing in-house every Monday night. They encourage non-profits to set up fundraisers tied to this event, so if you’re affiliated with a school or some other group needing funds, contact the Rose to discuss a Make it Count MAGIC Monday.
6:30PM The Golden Urban Renewal Authority (GURA) meets tonight in City Council Chambers. They will review the conclusions reached at their recent retreat, which included three focus areas to implement across all URAs: 1) Housing Affordability; 2) Impact of unintentional gentrification to/from URA’s; and 3) Safety. Two of the GURA commissioners will work with two DDA members to recommend ways to spend the $1.8 million legacy fund. City Staff will provide an update on GURA’s budget and alert the board to the upcoming Heart of Golden input meetings. Learn more….
