The Quilt Museum (1213 Washington Avenue) opened a new exhibit yesterday–Crazy Quilts: Victorian Fancies and Beyond and Crazy Quilts in Everyday Life: Photographs from the collection of Janet Finley.  Crazy quilts were America’s first art quilts. They were made for beauty, not warmth, and to show off the Victorian woman’s fabulous needle skills. Also see rare examples of antique photos of people with crazy quilts from the collection of Janet Finley.  For more information call the museum at 303-277-0377.

The moon will be full tonight.
