Golden will be hosting a cool event this weekend at the Mountaineering Center: the Cowboy Poetry Gathering.
For over two decades the Gathering has celebrated the cowboy life and culture. Come join enjoy this year’s all-star cast and award-winning cowboy poets and musicians from the American West and Canada. This year’s newly expanded four-day roundup includes three evening performances, two full-days of popular theme session matinees, authentic chuckwagon cookin’, as well as Cowboy Church Sunday morning. A weekend that captures the true spirit and lifestyle of the Cowboy heritage through poetry, song and verse.
