This is the final day for the Jefferson County Fair. They will start with Cowboy Church from 11:30-12, followed by a day filled with science shows, reptile shows, game shows, mutton bustin’, and much more. The winners of the homebrewing competition will be announced at 5:15. There will be live music all day, including the Beverly Belles – Victory Swingtime USO Show from 1-2.
The Library is now out of the free eclipse-viewing glasses that they had been giving away, but this afternoon from 1:30-2:30, they will teach you how to make a Pinhole Eclipse Viewer. This DIY Lab is suitable for all ages, but children unde 12 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
