City Council meets tonight at 6:30 in City Council Chambers. The Mayor will issue proclamations for Leadership Golden Day, Mental Health Month (May), and Municipal Clerks Week. The Finance Director will give his quarterly finance report.
Council will be asked to approve
- $1,774,100 for street improvements and $1,160,000 for asphalt replacement.
$2,064.150 in additional expenditure appropriations for various things. - an ordinance to raise from $2000 to $2500 the amount that the city would contribute to clean up a mess caused by back-up of the city’s sewer lines.
They will be asked to extend Calvary Church’s closure of Arapahoe St. from April 26th to October 26th.
Finally, they will announce the appointments to the Downtown Development Authority, Economic Development Commission, Fire Pension Board, Parks, Recreation & Museums Advisory Board, Public Arts Commission, and Visit Golden. Learn more….
