Today’s forecast calls for considerably cooler weather. Yesterday’s high was about 94, and today’s predicted high is in the low-80s.
That’s good news for the artists who will be engaged in Paint Out in the Park today, as part of Artsweek Golden. Artists will create works of art in Lions Park at 1300 10th Street and the downtown areas of Golden – Sunday through Wednesday. In addition, artists will be bringing awareness of Foothills Art Center to the public. Completed works will be on display at Foothills Art Center Courtyard, Thursday night, July 19.
Tomorrow’s Artsweek Golden events will include free guided tours at the Quilt Museum from 10AM-1PM, a FREE day at Foothills Art Center from 10AM-5PM, and a Virtuosity Dance Centre open house from 7-9PM, as well as another day of Painting in the Park from 10AM-5PM.
