Commencement, Music, Christmas, and Golden History

The School of Mines is holding their 2018 Midyear Commencement today. The undergraduate ceremony takes place at 9AM and the graduate ceremony at 2PM, both in the Lockridge Arena in the Student Rec Canter. CONGRATULATIONS to the graduates! That’s a huge accomplishment! We hope you come back to visit Golden many times.

Holiday Art Market at Foothills Art Center

Just a reminder–the Holiday Art Market is now open at Foothills Art Center. This event happens only once a year, and it’s a wonderful opportunity to see or buy (or both!) some beautiful, affordable arts and crafts–for yourself or as a gift.

Another reminder–tomorrow is the last day to send a letter to Santa via the mailbox at the Visitors Center. Be sure to include a return address, so Santa can write back!

Tonight’s Live Music:
Golden High School Winter Concert – 6:30PM
Ace Hi Tavern – Karaoke, 9:00 p.m.
Dirty Dogs Roadhouse – Kenny Perkins Band, 7PM
Jolynn’s Food and Spirits – Drama Americana, 9PM
