6PM The Mobility and Transportation Advisory Board meets this evening in City Council Chambers. 7PM The School of Mines has an interesting two-night event this week. This evening at 7, they’re offering a free screening of Dark Waters (which is a new release, still showing in theaters). The film dramatizes the true story of an attorney who pursued a lawsuit for environmental crimes against a big chemical company. Tomorrow night, that attorney (Rob Bilott) will be at the School of Mines, giving a keynote speech and participating in a panel discussion. Both events take place in Bunker Auditorium in the Green Center (map). You won’t need tickets for tonight’s film showing, but you must go online to get a ticket for tomorrow night’s keynote speech/panel discussion. The public is welcome, but tonight’s seats and tomorrow’s tickets are first-come, first served–don’t dawdle! Learn more….
