Coffee, Chili, Theater, Tools, and Golf

Casey Brown’s Coffee with a Councilor will run from 10-11 this morning at the Community Center.  A good chance to hear what the City is working on, and to express any thoughts or concerns you might have.

The Lions Club Chili Supper will run from 3-7 today at 400 10th Street.  The chili is free, but they do sell beer and wine, and they’re having a bake sale.  The proceeds support their charitable and community projects.

Miners Alley Playhouse will host three performances today.  The Children’s Theater will present Robin Hood at 11 and 1.  This is a lot of fun for the kids, as they’re often invited to join the actors on stage.  The performance of Hir starts at 7:30.  This production is drawing great critical acclaim.  The acting is superb, and the characters are–well, challenging.  You’re never sure whose side you should be on.  The play is rated R for strong language and adult content.

The Be A Tool group is looking for 20 volunteers to help some neighbors with home repairs next Saturday, February 25th.  Learn more and sign up….

This may come as a surprise, but Fossil Trace is open.  If you’re a golfer, call (303) 277-8750 for a tee time.
