Coding, Climbing, Crafting, and Christmas Music

Tonight (Wednesday)
The Library has CoderDojo today from 4-5.  Do you like to tinker, invent and reminagine things? Visit our CoderDojo where you can learn to code, build a website, create an app or a game, and explore technology in an informal, creative, and social environment. Bring your own laptop, if you have one. Offered Monthly. Limit of 20 participants.  Suitable for: Ages 7-17

The second Wednesday of every month, Colorado Mountain Club members meet at Cannonball Creek Brewery to celebrate “Peak of the Week.”  It’s the perfect time to get together with fellow mountain enthusiasts over a pint.  Celebrate all things outdoors with an evening of fun, beer, and socializing.  That’s 5-8PM tonight.

Tomorrow (Thursday)
Tomorrow morning from 10-12, the Lookout Mountain Nature Center will help young naturalists make holiday crafts.  Get into the holiday spirit by making  handmade nature crafts which could include animal track wrapping paper, an animal ornament, a holiday card, cookie holder, and more!  Families with kids of all ages are welcome! (crafts are geared towards ages 2 – 8 yrs old).  The suggested donation is $3 per child.

Thirsty Thursday is tomorrow night from 6-8:30 at the Mountaineering Center.  The Colorado Mountain Club will have an Introduction to Backcountry Snowshoeing and Skiing at 7:30.

The Golden History Center will have Christmas Music by the Jefferson Brass Quintet tomorrow night from 6-7.

Golden High School will have their instrumental holiday concert tomorrow night at 7.
