Mitchell Elementary students are raising money to visit Washington D.C. in the spring. They have arranged with Goodwill Industries to have a collection truck in the Golden High School parking lot (701 24th – map) from 9 – 4:30 today. For every pound of household goods, clothing, books, electronics, etc., that the kids collect, Goodwill will contribute to their Washington D.C. fund. 5th and 6th grade Mitchell students will be on hand to unload your contributions.
