The Jefferson Symphony is playing their first concert of the season this afternoon, starting at 3, in the Green Center (map). They’ll start off with the William Tell Overture (a.k.a. “The Lone Ranger Theme Song” for those of us in a certain age bracket). They’re also playing Rachmaninoff’s Die Toteninsel, Mahler’s Songs of a Wayfarer, Piston’s The Incredible Flutist, and Gershwin selections. Tickets are available online or at the door.
Perfect Fall weather continues unabated, so keep in mind Golden’s large trails system, or try one of our walking tours.
