Golden has an active service club culture.  The Golden Rotary, Lions, Kiwanis, and Optimist clubs are all great contributors to the quality of life we enjoy here.  If you’re interested in joining a club, but concerned about the time commitment, this might be of interest:  Golden Rotary is launching a new “satellite club,” aimed at busy professionals who hesitate to commit to weekly meetings.  This group plans to meet every other week and do some of their meetings through conference calls.  Their first service project is working at the Library’s Spring Whale of a Used Book Sale.  This group will meet tomorrow (Monday) from 5:30-6:30 in the community room at Natural Grocers (2401 Ford St – Map).  For more information about the new Rotary Satellite Club, contact Tyler Freeman at 303-278-4747 X 114 or 720-454-2830.
