Clear Creek History Park is hosting an interesting event today: a musical about battling paleontologists. Students from Yale University will present this play, which tells the story of two 19th century dinosaur hunters. The local tie-in is that Golden’s own Arthur Lakes (who discovered T-Rex bones near Golden) had dealings with both paleontologists–and ultimately chose one over the other. The play is geared toward older children and teens, but all are welcome. And really–how often will you have the chance to see a musical about dinosaur hunters?.
