Today is National Voter Registration Day, and the League of Women Voters will be conducting a Voter Registration Drive today at the Library. If you’re not registered (or are not sure if you are) make sure you visit the Library today to get it done. If you know someone who isn’t registered, march them into the Library and get them REGISTERED! The Golden Library is located at 1019 10th Street (map).
The final Golden Bike Cruise of the season takes place tonight, and the costume theme is Zombies. Put on your best moulting skin look, and head to the parking lot at 10th and Illinois. It’s going to be chilly, so shroud yourself warmly. New Terrain Brewing will tap the kegs at 6 and the ride starts at 7. Tonight’s music is provided by Weatherbee and the Gnarbillys and Bob’s Atomic Burgers will be serving burgers, hot dogs, chips and a vegetarian option. No word as to whether brain-burgers are an option for this month’s zombie clientele.
The Mobility and Transportation Advisory Board will meet at 6PM in City Council Chambers. They will discuss transportation ballot issues, then adjourn to a study session to discuss the minimum width for center median refuge and the draft crosswalk manual. Learn more….
