The Planning Commission will hold a study session tonight at 6:30. Their topic is regulating residential “bulk,” with the goal of preventing residential property from being overbuilt and changing the character of the surrounding neighborhood.
City Council meets tomorrow night at 6:30, and has a very full agenda. They will present two sustainability awards and an i-Neighborhood matching grant. The Finance Director will provide a 1st quarter financial report. They will be asked to grant easements for the new pedestrian bridge over Highway 6 to the light rail station. They will respond to the Ace Hi Tavern’s request to re-open their outdoor seating area. They will be asked to approve the East Downtown neighborhood plan. They will be updated on several pending requests for economic incentives. Finally, they will watch a video about the 911 Communications Department. The business meeting will be followed by a study session, during which they will hear an update on the Rocky Flats National Wildlife Refuge.
The Planning Commission meeting is available as live streaming audio through the city website, and the City Council meeting can be watched live, also through the website.
