City Council will meet tonight at 6:30. They will consider some zoning changes for mixed use areas. They will consider closing the on-ramp to Highway 58 from Clearview Parkway. They will vote on providing a matching grant to a faith-based group who plan to repair homes for senior and handicapped residents.
The regular meeting will be followed by a study session in which the Historic Preservation Board will discuss their work and plans. Council will also receive an update on the potential Downtown Development Authority and an update on plans to change methods of implementing the 1% growth limit. The meeting will be broadcast live on cable channel 8 and through the city’s website.
