City Council meets tonight at 6:30. The Buy Golden committee will present checks to six Golden schools. The money came from sales tax revenue generated during Buy Golden Week in March. A big thanks to everyone who supported local businesses during Buy Golden Week!
Council will consider approving the plans for the new interchange at Highway 6 and 19th Street.
Library staff will brief the Council on planned upgrades to the Golden Library. The Jefferson County Public Library is paying for the majority of this upgrade, and the city is contributing an additional $85K to make it even better!
Blue Canyon and Mesa Meadows will make another proposal concerning use of the sidewalk at 13th and Washington. Their initial proposal was that the planter be removed entirely in favor of restaurant seating. This new proposal calls for the north half of the planter to be demolished, while the south end remains.
