City Council meets tonight at 6:30 in City Council Chambers. If they have concluded negotiations, they may announce name of the new City Manager. Steve Glueck will be appointed as Interim City Manager, to filll in between Mike Bestor’s last day, July 28th, and the new City Manager’s first day. Mr. Glueck is the Director of Community and Economic Development, and has served as Interim City Manager in the past, during Mr. Bestor’s occasional absences.
Council will consider a request for approval of a replat for 20001 Golden Gate Canyon Road, where a developer intends to build new senior housing. They will also consider a plat for five new townhomes on 8th Street.
A visiting CPA will present the City’s annual financial report. (Preview–we’re in good shape.) Council will also discuss how much guidance they want to provide City Staff before they (staff) draw up the budget for the following year.
The City has been in the process of ordering new audio-video equipment, so tonight’s meeting may or may not be shown live on cable channel 8, but it will be available live through the City website.
