City Budget, Choir Concert, Free Movie

City Council has a study session tonight, beginning at 6:30 in Council Chambers.  They will be reviewing the 2015/2016 budget, and the status of their 2014/2015 “Signature Initiatives.”

Golden High School has a choir concert tonight at 7.

Tomorrow night at 5, there will be a free movie at the Mountaineering Center:  The Cherokee Word for Water.  This showing is sponsored by Women Writing the West and the Colorado Cherokee Circle.  The picture tells the story of the work that led Wilma Mankiller to become the first modern female Chief of the Cherokee Nation. Several people involved in making the film will be there for a panel discussion.
