Children’s Theater, Student Art, Thyroids, Chocolate, and Live Music

Miners Alley Children’s Theater in opening a new show today at 1PM. Call 303-935-3044 for more information. This will run through April 27th. Performances will be at 1PM on March 30th, April 4th, and 13th, and at both 11AM and 1PM on April 20th & 27th.


The Jeffco Student Exhibition: The Power of Process at Foothills Art Center will close after tomorrow, so if you haven’t seen it yet, make sure you visit today (10AM-5PM) or tomorrow (12-5PM). This show features the work of Jefferson County arts students as curated by the teachers. The show focuses on the unique creative process of the students. Over 50 students from our local community are on display in this diverse and dynamic exhibition.


Natural Grocers (map) is offering a free class today from 12-1:30PM – Why Do I Still Have Thyroid Symptoms? During this 60 minute seminar Dr. Harrison will introduce the prevalence, causes and effects of thyroid dysfunction and why it is an “epidemic” in the western world. Sunday Preview

Jeffco Open Space will lead a Spring Storytelling and Walk tomorrow at 1PM at the Lookout Mountain Nature Center. Listen to a story with about Nature, Place, or Wildlife, and take a walk through the Lookout Mountain Preserve.

Program is geared for ages 6 and up. Story will take place inside Lookout Mountain Nature Center and then we will take a short hike on the Forest Loop within the Lookout Mountain Preserve. Please dress for the weather. Any further questions please call 720-497-7600. Program is free, but prior registration is required.
