Have you seen the library’s new website? It’s great! If you’re looking for something new to read, or a movie to watch, you’ll find all sorts of recommendations on the home page. Right now they’re featuring the Best Fiction of 2017, Best Non-Fiction of 2017, a bunch of good Apocalyptic and Post-Apocalyptic movies, highly-recommended science fiction novels, books on relaxation, books on healthy eating, good Young Adult series, snow-themed movies for kids, winter-themed movies for families, and cold weather-themed movies for adults!
You can also see the newest fiction and non-fiction, see which movies they have on order, sign up to get some tax help, and check the library’s upcoming events.
You can stream movies, download audio books, book a meeting room–even book a librarian!
If you’ve resolved to save money this year, ditch the Amazon habit and order books and movies through the library’s website instead. If they don’t have it, chances are, they can get it.
I’m a big fan of the library.
For adults, today marks the end of all the holiday revelry and intermittent days off. The kids, however, have another week to go. Jeffco Schools will resume next Monday, the 8th, and classes at the School of Mines begin on Tuesday the 9th.
