Gary Wink has been the President of the Golden Chamber for 19 years. If you’ve attended any Farmers Markets, street fairs, parades, the Easter egg hunt, Ladies Only Sample Tour, downtown trick or treating, or just about any other event in town, you have no doubt seen him there.
Gary is retiring next week. The community gave him a surprise luncheon yesterday. (The biggest surprise was that we managed to keep it a secret until the moment he walked in!) This Friday from 4-8PM there will be an open house at the Golden Visitors Center (10th and Washington) to give everyone a chance to chat with Gary, raise a glass to his future, and wish him a fond farewell. Everyone is welcome to attend. Light hors d’oeuvres, beer and wine will be provided. An RSVP would be appreciated at info@goldencochamber.org or Eventbrite.
