The Jeffco Libraries are all celebrating today. Thanks to the ballot issue that we passed last November, they will be buying more books and extending hours, starting TODAY! Volunteers will be on hand today at the Golden Library to hand out balloons and cookies (compliments of the Jefferson County Library Foundation; while supplies last). Patrons are also invited to meet new staff members and check out the Library’s expanded inventory of fresh books, materials, and technology. Golden Library is open from 9AM to 8PM today. Foothills Art Center is looking for a new Controller. This is a part time job, 20 hours/week, non-exempt
Purpose: The controller reports to the executive director and will transact day to day accounting responsibilities as well as publish monthly financial reports and manage cash flow. The controller will insure that sufficient policies and procedures are in place to support effective program and audit implementation. The controller will work with the staff to educate them regarding finance and accounting procedures and explore how the finance function can support program operations. The controller will support the executive director in human resource and technology functions to integrate human resource, technology, and finance functions.
